Our meetings are held at Parkstone Yacht Club, Pearce Avenue, Parkstone, Poole, BH14 8EH, unless stated otherwise.

TUESDAY 25TH OCTOBER- 'EAST COAST CRUISING'
An illstrated talk by David Sadler, Joint Secretary of CA Suffolk Section, describing the delights of a very different crusing area - the swatchways that captivated the late Maurice Griffiths.
TUESDAY 29TH NOVEMBER - 'WORLD CRUISING DESTINATIONS' described by Jimmy Cornell
Another opportunity to hear from this renowned world cruising yachtsman, maybe even turn your blue water sailing dreams into reality.
SUNDAY 11TH DECEMBER - CHRISTMAS LUNCH - 12.00 for 12.30 p.m.
An informal social occasion which provides an opportunity for those unable to make our mid week evening meetings to join us.

TUESDAY 24TH JANUARY - 'NEAR & FAR'
An opportunity for members to share some of their cruising experiences.
In the past we have had some very good evenings with presentations covering a wide mix of cruising events and areas . These have included favourite West Country harbours and rivers, North Brittany and the Solent (at Christmas!!); A flare up in Scottish waters; South Pacific sailing in the Marquessas and Tahiti.
Please come and share your experiences with us, there may be somebody planning to follow in your wake who would welcome your advice and comments.
TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY - 'WHITE SHIP - RED CROSSES'
An illustrated talk by Nicci Pugh who served as a nursing sister aboard H.M. Hospital Ship 'Uganda throughout the Falklands war, 2012 being the 30th anniversary of that conflict.
TUESDAY 27TH MARCH - LESSONS LEARNT OR DISASTERS I JUST AVOIDED
An illustrated talk by Roger Shaw, Commodore of Henley Offshore Group describing some of the incidents experienced and survived during his 22,000 miles of sailing.
