Welcome to the Cruising Association's Kent Section
The Cruising Association Kent Section arranges a series of winter lectures and events, as well as several meets and rallies during the summer months. Often, these rallies are held with the Suffolk and Essex Sections as part of the East Coast activities of the CA.
In the Summer of 2010, we held rallies at Harwich, Rye and a meet at Harty Ferry. Reports of these events, as well as recent Kent section news, can be seen in the top left of this page under "news"
Our winter programme of events can be seen by clicking on "more" next to "forthcoming events" in the top left hand corner of this page.
In the winter we meet at seven o'clock at The Early Bird Pub, Grovewood Drive North, Weavering, Maidstone, ME14 5TQ (www.shepherdneame.co.uk – for a map), on the second Thursday of each month between October and April (inclusive). The talks begin at ten past eight.
If you would like to eat beforehand then, to help the staff at the pub, please tell the Early Bird in advance by telephone (01622 734237) or email earlybird.grovegreen@yahoo.co.uk.
