Sections Home Page

The Sections are the social side of the CA - there are two types of sections:

Cruising Sections, which correspond to popular cruising areas and offer support and guidance about their areas. At the moment, our Cruising Sections cover the Mediterranean, Baltic, European Inland Waterways and Blue Water. You can access the section pages from the menu to the right of the page. 

UK Regional Sections: our UK Sections offer lectures, meetings and parties in the winter and rallies, barbeques and other social events in the summer. To view the pages of any section, please click on the appropriate link on the right.

To access some of the content here you must first create an account and to do that you must be a member of the Cruising Association. If you are already a member but have not yet created an account, please click here to learn how to do so. If you are not yet a member, please click here for information on how to join.

Any member of the Cruising Association is entitled to join one or many section without extra charge, and receive mailings and notices of local activities. To do this, contact CA House. You can also attend any section event whether or not you have previously indicated an interest in that section.

Each section has at least one honorary local secretary who is responsible for organizing section activities. A list of these appears here and in the current Yearbook and most of them can be found on the section page here.

We are anxious to locate any members in Northern Ireland, South Wales and the Channel Islands who might be interested in reviving the sections that used to operate there.
