We only provide advice for sailors using boats for leisure. If (among other exceptions) your vessel  is used for business, is owned by a company, or  is over 24m LOA, we can tell you about places, but not about the regulations which may affect you.

We assume you always use Pilot Books, charts and their corrections to navigate, and you have these on board. Decisions about where to go and how to do it using these sources are yours alone.

Our Guides contain facts and opinions. Facts are always changing, and you may have different opinions, so be sceptical about our advice. If you disagree with anything we say, please help.  Use the 'comments' tab at the bottom of each page to warn others or suggest changes.
