Using the book format
Most of the help files in MyCA are arranged in "books" so that you can easily extract and print the information without the distraction of headings and sidebars which clutter up the pages.
You can tell when you're in a book by the presence of several pointers at the bottom of the page to the next pages in the book and also a link to a "Printer friendly version" at the bottom. If you click on this you will get a page which contains the contents of one or more pages of the book without any extra links. For example:

Books can contain chapters and even sub-chapters. You move up the hierarchy from a page by clicking on the "up" link. This gets you to a header page, so that when you ask for the printer-friendly version you will get the whole chapter or even the whole book. Check how many pages you are going to print before sending it all to the printer!
The order of pages in a book is determined by the "Weight" attached to the page, which can vary from -10 to +10. "Heavier" pages sink to the bottom. Pages with the same weight are ordered alphabetically on the title.
You will only see the "add child page" link(above) if you are able to contribute to the book. This adds the next page in the chapter. Some of the basic help pages can only be changed by administrators but we would like the system to be as cooperative and some books can be written by everyone. In addition you can use the book format for logs and other contributions you may want to make to the site.
