Published for the third year, this is now becoming a useful annual fixture. As was commented upon last year, this slim modestly priced volume of the ephemerides seems to rekindle interest in astro-nav for those who have not seriously thought about it for years. It does not seek to be a textbook, but carries a helpful section giving example calculations showing how to make best use of the tables. This edition carries helpful editorial notes that explain the four other sections.
