The Imray Mediterranean Almanac 2005 -2006

The two year new edition covers all Mediterranean countries from Gibraltar round to Morocco.  Now in full colour its presentation is all you would expect from the well-established team of Rod Heikell, assisted by Lu Michell, and Imray.  It will be supported by a supplement in November 2005, and with regular news as well as the supplement through the Imray website: www.imray.com.

The introduction explains how the Almanac has altered since the beginning.  It has now moved from the comprehensive, and rather bulky, tome to a very useful day-today companion.  This was achieved by taking the largely unchanging material relating to such matters as geography, climate, history, marine life as well as nine language glossary and putting it in the new edition of the Mediterranean Handbook – another good example of the publishers and editor listening to the practical cruising yachtsman.

The full colour technique that is now used in many Imray pilots enhances the chart clarity and helps to make this a volume that should sit by any chart-table cruising in the area.  – MD
