The authors of this excellent companion to the RYA shorebased courses are well qualified, as two of the most experienced instructors, examiners and managers within the RYA training scheme.
The exercises are designed for anyone wishing to brush up their navigation skills, with sections on all aspects of the Day Skipper and Yachtmaster syllabuses. Within each section the questions become progressively more difficult. Part 2 of the book gives the answers, and an RYA Training Chart is included.
The title is descriptive; this is not an instructional book, but an exceptionally clearly produced set of exercises. If that is what you are looking for, look no further for it would be hard to improve on this volume. - CN
