Now that's a suitable book for me to review, I thought when this book arrived on my doorstep. I have been painting boats for thirty years, so I thought I knew something about it.

This is a brilliant book and I learnt a lot. It deals with every type of material to be painted, all painting products and every conceivable circumstance. It is easy to read and understand whilst not shirking technical explanations, and I guarantee any boat painter will produce a better result for reading it; for you will know exactly how it should be done. I recommend it for the beginner and the old-timer alike. Borrow it from the library and you will probably end up buying it for your reference shelf. - JS
