Nicolson on Sails

I was, at first, put off reviewing this. Sails have become so complex in recent years that I feared it would be beyond me. However the level is pitched really usefully at anyone who sails.

Nicolson knows his subject and how to put it across. There's a lot here which needs study and I'm sure all of us will find it worth reading - before leaving the mooring. The illustrations are clear and plentiful.

It is certainly worth reading - I might say worth buying. -JFB
