Bruce Roberts-Goodson is a well-known naval architect based in the USA, for which market this informative but very general cruising equipment review was obviously originally written. It has been anglicised for our market but not very convincingly. All references to yacht designs, mainly the author’s, and most of the equipment reviewed originates in the USA and is not easily available in the UK. An interesting book to borrow but not to buy. KJHS
