The RCC have made a good choice in Robin Hutt as the reviser of the Islas Baleares Pilot Book. He knows the area well and has diligently researched both the coastline and the inland areas to make this edition a useful and comprehensive yachtsman’s guide as well. The aerial and satellite colour photography complement the harbour plans and other chartlets to good effect. The five appendices include an all-embracing bibliography and a useful glossary of Spanish words. The language is in good, clear, plain English and the entire product is of a quality to make one proud to own it; a bargain at £32.50. I would certainly have a copy on board if I were to visit the Balearics and would expect it to give me all the answers I needed. - IG
