<!--[endif]-->London Docks by Jeremy Batch.  This talk tells the story of London's Docks (East India, West India, London, Royals, Surreys, etc.) and also covers some of the other history of London's River: Alfred and the Danes, the first locks, the East India Company, the Jamestown expedition, the Blitz, etc.

We meet at 19:00 hours at the Early Bird, Public House,  Grovewood Drive North, Weavering, Maidstone, ME14 5TQ(www.shepherdneame.co.uk – for a map), on the second Thursday of each month between October and April (Inclusive) and the talks begin at 20:10 hours.
