Boat Electronics Seminar

place:
CA House

Once we navigated oceans by the stars. Now it’s barely imaginable to cross the Thames without a computer. If you’ve ever been baffled by the array of technology available to the modern yachtsmen and left wondering what is useful and what is not, this masterclass is for you. Tom Cunliffe is in the Chair, supported by Alan Watson, one of Britain's greatest  independent authorities on radar, AIS, MARPA etc, and a representative from EuroNav who will talk about PCs on board and PC Plotter programs. Dedicated plotters will be discussed in detail. A full programme will be available shortly. A sailor all his life, Tom is a prolific author, a prizewinning TV and radio presenter, and an outstanding public speaker. At home with star sights and sextants, he is also the author of The Electronic Yachtmaster. Who better to guide us through the maze.
