East Coast Spring Rally

RHYC - River Orwell

The Suffolk, Essex, and Kent Sections of the Cruising Association invite you to celebrate the start of the Sailing Season  with a get together in true CA style with an informal rally, featuring some cruising, some gentle competition, some activities ashore, some entertainment and eat, drink and yarn with friends old and new.

There will be a passage “race” based on predicting your Estimated Time of Arrival at the RHYC.

All CA members and their friends are welcome, with or without boats.

Caravans and Campervans can be accommodated.

All in charge for the Rally Supper includes:

Three course Buffet Supper and Professional Entertainment.

10% reduction in RHYC berthing charges for the duration of the Rally. (Pay to the RHYC Berthing Master or Bar on arrival).

Pontoon Party (please bring glasses, nibbles and a bottle)

Sunday 2 May

Visit to a local place of interest.

Evening

Meet for drinks & introductions.

Three Course Supper with Hot Buffet, coffee and mints.

Competition Results and prizes.

Entertainment. Professional performance of one of Alan Bennett’s “Talking Heads”.

Monday 3 May

Coffee or Tea in the Clubhouse.

Information about other events this Season and next winter’s programme.

Throughout the Rally, RHYC can offer meals for you to enjoy when you will, only the Sunday Supper must be pre-booked.
