Nautical Web Portal – The librarian has added to the existing Nautical Links on the CA website by establishing a nautical web portal. Example categories include website for out-of-print books, National Maritime Museum’s portal. |

How do I find information – A booklet detailing the process of finding information, providing hints on where to locate and how to access information resources. It is available online or in the library. |

New Library Leaflets – There are new chart instruction leaflet, regional file leaflet, and CA website leaflet available to members. Copies are available from the library; alternatively

Magazine donation – The library is calling for donation of some missing issues of magazines. They are required for continuing our practice of binding major sailing magazines. Please contact the Librarian for a list of the magazines sought after. |

Magazines – “Journals are to be consulted within the Hanson Room only, and cannot be borrowed, for however short a time period,” the current chairman of the Library Working Group, John Robinson, clarified. |

Putting Book back to the Shelf – The policy of Librarian Putting the Book back to the shelf has been re-introduced at the library, due to the overwhelming number of members who don’t put the book back to the proper spot. This applies to charts and magazines as well. |
