What is the Cruising Association?
The Cruising Association is an international organisation of
Cruising yachtsmen and women, under sail or power.
Where are you based?
We are truly international, with over 200 representatives across
the world.
Wherever you are planning to sail, one of our 3,500 members has been there and is ready to help you.
We have Sea Area Sections covering the Med, Baltic, European Inland Waterways and Blue Water, eleven UK Sections hosting their own events and rallies around the country.
We also have a Central London HQ, which houses our Library and offices, and has a bar and restaurant and very good value cabins for the use of members.

Any adult. You do not need to own a boat or have any sailing

So, what’s it going to cost?
The basic subscription fee for a UK member is
£126 (cash) or £118 (direct debit).This includes a partner living at the same address.
If you are resident overseas for 12 months of the year, the subscription rate is £80.50 including a partner at the same address.
If you are under 25 years of age, a Young Membership costs only £27 (cash) or £24 (direct debit).

How to I get a permit to fly a defaced blue
ensign?
If you are a member and own a boat, then you can
fly a Cruising Association ensign.
In order to fly this special flag you must obtain a permit from the Secretariat.
The permit lasts for five years.

I’m a member, why can’t I log in?
If you joined in the last year or so, you should
have been automatically signed up to MyCA, the member’s only section of
the website.
You will have been sent your log in details in an email when you joined.
If you cannot find this, or can't remember your password, click on "Request new password" on the left-hand side of the window at www.cruising.org.uk and enter your email address. You will then be sent a once-only opportunity to log in which will tell you your user name and allow you to set your password to whatever you want.
If you have never been given log in details, you can create your own account. To do this, click “create account” under the log in button on the left of the home page. To create an account you will need to enter a user name (please use the format Firstname Lastname) and the email address that we have registered for you in the database. If you need help, or think we have the wrong email address for you, please call us on 020 7525 2828 during office hours or email office@cruising.org.uk.

I’ve forgotten my Password, what do I do?
Click on the link "Request new password" below the Login box and enter either your email address or your user name. You will be sent an email with a free login link which can be used to change your password to something you can remember.
I can’t see the forums, what do I do?
Log into MyCA and click onto the Forums link on the link towards the top right-hand corner of the page.

How do I submit a cruising report?
You can submit a cruising report by entering the information on the CA wbsite using this form.
How do update my boat details?
You cannot change your own boat details. If you change your boat, or acquire a new one, please inform the CA office who will change the record for you.

I’m coming to London Limehouse, can I book a
berth in the marina?
All enquiries about berth bookings and other matters should be directed to the British Waterways Marinas office at Limehouse, who can be contacted on: 020 7308 9930.
When is the library open?
The Library is open Monday to Friday, 09.30 to 17.30.
