Welcome to the Crewing Service pages which will guide you through the process of registering for the Crewing Service and getting details of crews or skippers, depending on which you register as. Crew with Ensign

The Crewing Service is free for members of the Cruising Association as either skipper or crew. If you are not a member of the CA, then you can join as crew only. Please refer to this page to see details of how to join the Crewing Service.

You won't be able to see the entries in the list until you have submitted your own details. To do this, follow the appropriate link below

NEW SEASON’S MEETING DATES

The Thursday evening meetings for 2012 will be held at CA House on:

February 2nd, March 1st, April 12th (To avoid Maundy Thursday) and May 3rd

Bar and Galley open from 6.00pm, meeting starts 7.00pm.  Continues as needed.

Please bring your CA membership card if possible, or be prepared to be checked in to the meeting.

Library can be open if you volunteer to help.

 

If you have previously been a Crewing Service member and want to update your details for the next year, click here for full details.

You will now be able to see lists of Crew and Skippers from the links below as well as on the menu on the left hand side of this page.You can check that your entry is up to date and look for possible matches. There is also a one-page summary of crew and skipper contacts on the menu to the left. Please also read the advice for skippers or crew.

 

Your details will stay up for a period of three months. You can edit these details at any time in order for your details to remain visible to other Crewing Service members for another three months from that date (up to a maximum of a year in the case of non-members of the CA). For details of the reason for this and how to update your entry, click here.

You may also now make use of the Crewing Service Forum to exchange messages with other members of the service. To get the maximum benefit from this you need to subscribe so that you will get all messages by email. For further details, click here.
