Around the American East Coast  

Oak Harbor Marina - Lat: 30n15.56 Long: 89w57.12 -
is located about 10 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico.This harbor is claimed to be a Hurricane hole. I hope we will not have the need to find out! We sailed from French Creek B.C. Canada to New Orleans L.A. and are holed up for Hurricane season. Come Nov we will leave for Trinidad and Tobaco. The people in the south are very friendly and kind. Present weather conditions are 91 sunny and very high humidity,wind is about 10 knots SE. In the spring of 2001 we hope to leave the Caribbean for Europe and we would like to travel the canals in France any info that we might receive via e-mail about the canals of Europe would be appreciated.
