Fundamental ethicIt is the fundamental ethic of the Cruising Association that Members donate their time and expertise for the benefit of the Association and its Membership generally and it is recognised that the comprehensive range of services and benefits offered to Members is made possible only by this means. Code of ConductThe Cruising Association encourages Members who cruise to do so in well-founded and well-ordered vessels in accordance with the highest standards of seamanship. To this end the Cruising Association and its Members publish and otherwise make available information about navigation, pilotage and seamanship practice. It is because of this common interest that the Burgee and Ensign of the Cruising Association have become well-known throughout the yachting world and it is accepted that Members will conduct themselves and their vessels so as to enhance their own and the Cruising Association's reputation.
